DAY 1

Evening

Stroll down into the lively bazaars below the fort. Watch hereditary silversmiths, leatherworkers, and textile weavers at work. Unhurried rooftop dinner with panoramic views of the illuminated fortress.

Local Context: Built from yellow Jurassic sandstone that turns amber as the sun sets, the fort earned Jaisalmer its moniker "The Golden City". Walking with a local reveals stories that guidebooks omit.

Evening

Check into your luxury Swiss desert camp. Set out on a sunset camel safari or jeep excursion across soft sand dunes. As dusk settles, gather around the camp hearth for Kalbelia folk dance, Manganiyar music, and a traditional Rajasthani dinner under an unpolluted sky of stars.
